2026 Registration

Team Registration opens January 1, 2026, and is due June 1, 2026. Please see the outlined steps below for team registration.

  1. Registration Steps:
    Click on the button below or HERE to start the 2026 Team Registration process.

  2. Log In:
    You can use the same username and password from last year.
    This will also enable you to access a previous roster and quickly add returning players to your 2025 roster.

  3. New teams/Account Issues:
    If you are new team or  cannot access your 2025 team account should create a new account.
  4. Complete Team Information:
    Fill out the required information for your team.

    ✅ Tip: Reusing last year’s login saves time by importing your roster.

    ⚠️ Reminder: All registrations must be submitted by June 1, 2026.
    Note: Registration and insurance fees need to be paid to complete the process. The website will not accept a debit card or Discover card for payment.

Insurance premiums and national/state fees are rolled into one, combined purchase — which is made through the national registration system, using a credit or debit card.

The deadline for payment of insurance is May 15, 2025. Payments after the deadline incur a $200.00 late fee.

Coaching Requirements

To be eligible to coach American Legion Baseball in North Dakota, coaches must complete a background check and Child Safety Training.

All Background checks and Child Safety Training must be completed before your roster is approved.

Background Check

Beginning with the 2013 season, the National American Legion mandatory that all team managers, coaches, assistant coaches must undergo annual background screening prior to participating in legion baseball.

To ensure consistency and protect confidentiality, all screening must be conducted by one designated vendor (“Protect Youth Sports”). Those who do not complete it — or who fail the screening — are ineligible to participate.

Background Check

Child Safety Training

After your background check has been completed your will receive an email from message@protectingourkids.com to complete the Child Safety Training. North Dakota Legion Baseball will be notified when you have completed the Child Safety Training. There will be no need to email a copy of your certificate to North Dakota Legion Baseball.

SAA Training

All background checks and abuse training must be completed before the approval of your team registration.
